Welcome and join our community!
The Business Technology Forum (or BT Forum) is a not-for-profit professional organisation established to advance a fair, competitive digital economy for all. We develop, maintain and distribute the open-source management framework called the Business Technology Standard with our community.
The BT Standard consists of industry best practices, models and tools to plan, build and run information technology-enabled business and operations. Our development community operates according to the platform economy model and consists of more than 50 leading Nordic companies, public sector organisations and academia.
The framework was first released in 2009, and now, with a fast-growing community, we are delighted to see that the BT Standard has found its way to your hands too!
Navigation of this site is easy. From the main navigation in the upper right corner, you can access the framework and other pages. If you prefer to browse via images, the Capability Model tab provides you with easy links to respective pages. Use the logo on the top left of the site to navigate home if you get lost. Or if you prefer, simply download the book from the footer.
BT Standard – extremely GOOD & FREE to use
Business Technology mindset model with three dimensions – In many organisations, the cooperation between the business and technology functions is not optimal and could enable greater business outcomes. To overcome this, business leaders must embed a culture of cooperation within the organisation so that technology management skills are fully applied as needed across all business units.
